I am quite amazed I have read so many, only one less than my sister the avid reader.
And before any of you think I am telling porkies - YES - I have read the whole of War and Peace from cover to cover - it is one of my favourite books. I even dropped it in the bath and it swoll to nearly twice its size - that was a pain to carry on the train I tell you.

    Of that list I find I have only read fourteen. However I have read fourteen [auto]biographies, all of Kiplings published work,The Canterbury Tales and most of Shakespeare as well as about half of Washington Irving's Tales from the Alhambra and countles textbooks. I do regret though that some books on that list - I have not heard of!!! Love
