On Saturday January 8th we had hailstones in San Francisco. I don't remember ever seeing them here before.

It only lasted for about 5 minutes

Heavenly's "The Face". Black Diamond. We did it earlier in the day when it was fresh virgin powder. We didn't want to spoil our memory of that, at the end of the day, and so we came down the last section on the chairlift instead. At least we could take pictures.
